"Ginger has always had itchy skin with hot spots and dry skin flakes (dandruff). Allergies the vet said. Well the night of trying out my samples right before giving her a bath I noticed that 1) she had a hot spot forming on her tail where it was all wet from her biting it and it was starting to bald and turn red. She wouldn't even let me touch her tail to look at it, and 2) When I rubbed my hand through her coat she had a ton of dry skin flakes all over. I was impressed that it did lather nicely and I was able to wash even her tail without her flinching. The next night, and since that night about a week now, I've been checking her - hardly NO dandruff is showing. Her tail is no longer red and wet and I can hold it and move the hair on it and it doesn't bother her!! Her coat is sooooo soft it's unbelievable!!! I couldn't believe that with only one washing with that soap it nipped that hot spot in the butt so it wouldn't get worse and helped with the dry skin!!!" - Sharon

Before using Cain & Able Soap-on-a-Rope:
“I've been using an oatmeal shampoo on my very itchy dog, but it doesn't seem to be working real well. He takes flea pills, so I know its not fleas. Do you have a product that might help relieve my poor doggie? ( or if not, a suggestion?) He is itching himself raw, and its painful to watch. The vet did give him a cortisone shot a couple months ago - that helped a bit, but has worn off. I guess I could go get another, but I'd rather not have too if I can find another way.
